Will we leave anything after us, whether archaeologists could find at least any of our writing and images? Or it would be just field of Lithium batteries, plastic packages, disposable tableware and other faceless trash. What a civilisation, which did not leave behind a simple human values … where would be all our stuff …. where would be any love letters — they will somewhere inside the dead gadgets, where would be the photos — they will be bricked at the hard drives. Can you believe that our scientific and cultural heritage might disappear due to a system failure? The paradox is that the humanity of the age of information technologies risks to loose all of information about itself. A white, empty spot on the timeline could be instead. And for our distant descendants it might be mystery as the enigma of dinosaur’s extinction.
