“The general idea underpinning this project is to offer a lamp which can be infinitely adjusted to satisfy all lighting needs. We have developed a new type of lamp that is naturally positioned in space — like a plant — with long cables providing maximum freedom to adjust the direction and height of the light source. This object is the industrial version of the ‘Liane’ lamp presented at the Kreo gallery in Paris in 2010.”
R. & E. Bouroullec
Suspended light fitting. Body in varnished aluminium sheet, shade in photo-etched optical polycarbonate. Internal reflector in photo-etched ABS. Directionable body. Powered directly from mains. The LED can be dimmed with a «Triac for Led» dimmer approved by Flos.Flos does not respond in case of wrong electrical connection system installations. The cable has a useful length of 9 metres and thus the lamp can be suspended 3 metres from the ceiling. Multiple rose with capacity to connect up to 5 Aims also available.

Penrose seems to rest on one point. Bonding the glass slabs — finely fnished in the oblique cut of every edge — makes magic: the glass becomes lighter and bends on itself, remaining in perfect balance. Penrose is the aesthetic and functional metaphor of mankind’s challenge to exceed nature and its balance by using glass.

The conception of this work: How many possibilities does providence gives to us, a lot or much more? Do we use these chances us or continue to knock in closed doors? Some of us have already the level of experts in a such case. May be it s time to throw away excessive expectations, feel the easiness of perception, soar up and see at the whole picture. After all, perchance we can see huge quantity of doors are ajar for us.
